I am Dr. Jorge Jimenez, the Mayan Bioengineer.

I am a descendent of  Akateko people, an indigenous group of Mayan people in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. 

My mission is to achieve equitable health for indigenous people across the globe by Designing for Health Equity, Engaging Communities, and Sharing Knowledge.
